I
was eighteen years old when I did this, my first branding design. I was
very naive and all too trusting. I didn't ask for a payment until after
my illustration was sent to the engraver. The engraver was a friend of mine,
and when he found out, he included a tiny skull and cross bones on the flag.
It was printed. I was never paid. Beware to clients who don't pay. Bloody
