Tawny Eagle, the Maasai Mara, Kenya : If you've ever spent any time with serious 'birders' (the kind that keep a life list), it can be a very educational experience, unless of course two or more disagree on the species. The bird below was one of a questionable type. It is either a juvenile Steppe Eagle or a Tawny Eagle. He looks 'Tawny' to me.
