This man, the previous winemaker at one of the most renown wineries in the
Napa Valley, made some of the best wines that I've ever tasted (and I've
tasted a lot). He was frustrated that his bottling line couldn't keep up,
and he saw a niche in the industry. He happens to love birds – especially
Red Tail Hawks – and I believe I did ten variations on the theme.
But it just didn't work for the service he offered. In the end, he went
with this compass rose illustration, which represents the mobility of this
wine bottling line.
