As a designer, it's hard to create your own logo, so I turned to someone
I admired immensely — Georgia Deaver — the renowned calligrapher
of 'Pete's Wicked Ale' fame. This logotype was letterpressed – a process
dating back to the 1400's. Jennifer Garden, a letter-press artist, used
her 60-year old machine for the task, which sits in her very cool barn in
the vineyards of the Napa Valley. I used this identity for approximately
