It’s
interesting when I am hired to create one thing and in the end, after a
little experimentation, a client says, “No, too risky. Let’s
just stay with what we’ve got.” This was one of those experiments.
Flora Springs wanted to try out a second label called La Petite Fleur, a
small production of estate chardonnay. In a spurt of inspiration, and with
paintbrush in hand, I came up with this. It was one of many concepts I created
for them, but I really hoped they would go with it — it was my first
