This
was the beginning of my career as a photo-journalist. The Nature Company
sent me on safari to Africa (the first of many I've taken over the years)
and I filled the brochure with photos, feathers, passport stamps, and even
my own plane ticket (with my name on it). Many years later, when I was interviewing
for a production designer at ADCOM, a woman opened her portfolio, and this
brochure was presented on her first page. As you can imagine, I was more
than a little peeved (she didn’t get the job). |
