When you spend a lot of time hanging out with Class V river guides, you
hear all about the biggest, and the gnarliest rivers in the world. The Bio
Bio in Chile was one of them. I was lucky to run down one of the last Class
V sections of the river before it was dammed. It scared the hell out of
me, but I loved it. I traded this trip for the design of this poster and
their brochure. It was fun to see the poster hanging in windows all over
La Paz. While they didn't understand 'wild rivers', they did understand
'rios salvajes'. |
