Bareboating
is truly one of the most hedonistic vacations one can take. After three
trips with friends to the BVI’s I got my own Captains license. Pack
your food and rum, chart your course, sail in steady trade winds, anchor,
snorkel, drink rum, dinner on deck at sunset, dingy to shore and dance to
a local steel drum band. Dingy back just before you know you might not be
able to. Then do it again the next day. After two weeks you start thinking
about how you could make a living doing this. I have returned six times
trying to find a solution to this conundrum. |
