  It was the year 2000, and at that time, wineries could only sell direct-to-consumer to 12 states. When the production of a bottle of wine averages $6.00, and after the distributors and retailers take their cut, the profit is minimal. Direct-to-consumer cuts out all middlemen. As the state laws opened up, interest opened up. But our clients were green when it came to understanding ecommerce, so my partners and I designed our site in the simplest terms – who, what, where and how. (Producer, Architect, Designer, UI/UX, Photo-Illustrator)
